Where do we know which type of float or surface type pumps we should use?

The criterion for selecting the water level and the source of water. For a wellbore with a depth of water deeper than 10 to 15 meters, the floating pump is suitable. But if a water well is open or underwater, the use of a surface water pump is better. Surface pump is also used when the depth of water is less than 10 meters.
