Fresnel Collectors

In this plant, like linear parabolic power plants, collectors are installed linearly and in the north-south direction. Its collectors have a large number of flat mirrors with a wide and long width that are placed together. The angle of each mirror is such that it focuses on reflecting sunlight on the recipient’s part.

In the receiver section, a secondary reflector is a parabolic pair that collects mirror reflections and shines on the receiver’s tube, warming up the receiver fluid in it.

For solar power plants, this may be the case in two ways: in the fluid systems operating inside the receptacle, the oil is transferred to the heat exchangers after being heated, and then it produces steam, but in another type that is direct steam type The term “direct steam” is called the collector’s length of more than 100 meters. On the one hand, the water intake pipe is fed and the steam is exhausted, and no extra sidewalls are required.
